From Autumn 2023 to Autumn 2025, our research will explore the motivations and interests of teachers when using technology in their professional lives, and variations in teachers’ uses of Edtech according to their place of work, school phase and subject/area of specialism.
We want to understand the nature and extent of teachers’ agency with Edtech, and how agency relates to contexts for teaching. We aim to inform UK policy, teacher training and teacher development. This research will directly involve primary and secondary teachers in Norfolk to understand how teachers use Edtech in schools and develop a model of use and interest to teachers more broadly.
Complete the national survey
Teachers working in UK schools are invited to complete our 10-minute survey about the EdTech they use in the course of their work and the agency they have over how those technologies are adopted and adapted.
Join the national network
If you would like to receive our newsletter with regular updates on the project and invitations to online events, we invite all colleagues to join our network of professionals who are interested in teachers’ agency with EdTech.
